If you are unable to watch the video above, please use the following instructions to unlock an encounter in NextGen:

1. Click Patient Demographics Tab

2. Double Click *UPG Encounter Unlock Request
3. Select the appropriate encounter date (can request 5 dates at a time)
4. Type in a detailed description
5. Check Sign
6. Pop up box instructs of auto save/close
